Zachariah Haydt’s litigation experience encompasses a wide variety of probate practices including trust and will contests, trust and estate litigation, and both prosecuting and defending elder abuse cases.
Zach began a career in public service by joining the US Marine Corps right after finishing high school. After completing a five-year enlistment that included deploying to Afghanistan right after 9/11 as well as two tours in Iraq, he graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish literature.
After moving to the West Coast, Zach worked as a clerk for federal administrative law judges for several years before applying to law school. He then graduated from the University of California at San Francisco’s Hastings College of the Law. While he was there, he won the prestigious CALI Award for being the top student in his Criminal Procedure class, and won a scholarship for his writing on the PG&E bankruptcy. He then worked successfully as a Public Defender gaining valuable experience as a litigator and a winning trial attorney.
Zach brings a service-oriented client-first approach to his legal work to ensure his client’s needs for good communication and understanding are more than satisfactorily met.
He enjoys spending his free time mountain climbing, sailing, and running marathons.
