Compensation: $49.38/Hour (Full-Time, Exempt)
Location: Irvine, CA Office (No Remote Work Available)

We will go far beyond your law school experience and envision you as a prospective Associate Attorney, Senior Associate Attorney, and up to a full Partner. Although the Fall Associate role is temporary, your objective with us is to prove your suitability as an Associate Attorney at the firm. If you reach your goal, you will be offered a full-time position as an Associate Attorney upon admission to the California Bar!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- You will work on interesting and challenging assignments that will help you grow your skillset
- You will research and draft legal pleadings, memoranda, discovery plans, status reports, and other documents
- You will compile, summarize, and analyze factual material
- You will propound and respond to various forms of discovery
- You will work with attorneys and paralegals on probate, trust, and conservatorship matters based on the current needs of the firm
- You will demonstrate creativity, and learn to efficiently utilize relevant law practice software
- You will gain valuable experience developing and maintaining electronic client files, databases, spreadsheets, and other files based on our project needs
- You will participate in a positive team environment, and work hard to meet client objectives, deadlines, and value expectations
- You will build initial client relationships, and create a strong bond while instilling confidence in our firm with every conversation
- You will handle various other duties as they are assigned to you
Qualifications
- You must be registered to take the California bar in July of 2023

- You must have a high level of maturity, good judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to assume responsibility
- You must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- You must be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- You must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You must have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- You must be able to type at least 40 words per minute
- You must be an excellent listener
- You must have computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite
- Lastly, we look for students with well-rounded experience both in their scholastic background (law review, journal, moot court) and professional careers
